Islamic Law


The Department of Islamic Law offers different Islamic courses including but not limited to Islamic jurisprudence (fiqh), Principles of Islamic Jurisprudence (Osoul al-fiqh), Islam and Human Rights, Islam and International Law, Islam and Public Law and Islam and Business Law for graduate and undergraduate programs. Based on their seminary education and knowledge, the faculties of the department supervise and advise students of different departments when the dissertations or theses are related to Islamic studies. They also help the research journal of the faculty in evaluating articles concerning Islamic issues. They occasionally write on Islamic legal issues in different academic journals and present in different national and international academic conferences.
